How to do it
Keep your wrists straight as you circle the forearms.
- 1
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, elbows bent at 90 degrees, and palms facing down.
- 2
Keep your upper arms parallel to the floor, move your forearms in small circles.
- 3
Perform the movement for a set time or number of circles, then switch direction.
- 4
Keep your shoulders down and away from your ears to avoid tension in the neck.
Expert tip
Ensure your elbows stay at shoulder level throughout the exercise to maintain tension on the shoulder muscles.
