How to do it
Drive your wrists straight over your elbows throughout the entire pressing arc.
- 1
Sit on a bench with back support, holding a dumbbell in each hand at shoulder height, palms facing forward.
- 2
Press the dumbbells straight up until your arms are fully extended.
- 3
Lower the dumbbells back to shoulder height under control.
- 4
Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Expert tip
Keep your back flat against the bench and avoid using momentum to press the weights.
