How to do it

Brace your core before lifting the working leg to stay balanced.

  1. 1

Stand with your feet hip-width apart, knees slightly bent.

  2. 2

Lift one leg off the ground to engage your core.

  3. 3

Perform a biceps curl with your body weight or holding an object.

  4. 4

Slowly lower your arms back to the starting position.

  5. 5

Repeat for the desired number of reps and switch legs.

Expert tip

Keep your elbows close to your body and avoid swinging to isolate the biceps effectively.

Common mistakes

  • ✕Curling through a partial range of motion
