How to do it

Maintain a slight bend in your knees and keep your weight balanced between both feet.

  1. 1

Set the cable machine to a high position and attach a rope handle.

  2. 2

Grasp the rope with both hands and step back to create tension.

  3. 3

Pull the rope towards your face, separating your hands as you do so.

  4. 4

Slowly return to the starting position while maintaining tension on the cable.

  5. 5

Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Expert tip

Focus on retracting your shoulder blades and using your rear deltoids to pull, rather than relying on your biceps.
