How to do it
Keep your wrists straight and in line with your forearms throughout each rep.
- 1
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a bottle in each hand at your sides.
- 2
With palms facing in, lift the bottles out to the sides to shoulder height.
- 3
Keep your torso stationary and avoid using momentum.
- 4
Pause at the top, then slowly lower the bottles back to the starting position.
- 5
Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Expert tip
Control the movement both on the way up and down to keep tension on the shoulder muscles and prevent swinging.
