How to do it

Exhale smoothly as you rotate into the side plank position.

  1. 1

Set the rings just above the ground and assume a push-up position with your hands in the rings.

  2. 2

Perform a push-up, keeping your body straight.

  3. 3

As you come up, rotate your body and extend one arm towards the ceiling, transitioning into a side plank.

  4. 4

Rotate back to the push-up position and perform another push-up.

  5. 5

Alternate the side plank on each side after each push-up.

  6. 6

Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Expert tip

Control the transition between the push-up and the side plank to maintain stability and engage the core throughout the movement.
