How to do it

Press your feet into the floor and brace your glutes throughout.

  1. 1

    Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.

  2. 2

Extend your arms straight out in front of you at shoulder height.

  3. 3

With palms facing up, scoop your arms up and toward your body in a semi-circular motion.

  4. 4

Reverse the motion, extending your arms back out in front of you.

  5. 5

Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Expert tip

Maintain a slight bend in your elbows throughout the movement to keep the tension on your shoulders and biceps, and avoid locking your arms.
