How to do it

Interlace your fingers behind the thigh for a secure grip on the leg.

  1. 1

Lie on your back with both knees bent and feet flat on the floor.

  2. 2

Bring one knee towards your chest, holding it with both hands.

  3. 3

Gently pull the knee closer to your chest to deepen the stretch in the glute and hip area.

  4. 4

Hold the position for a few seconds before releasing.

  5. 5

    Repeat with the other leg.

Expert tip

Keep your head and neck relaxed on the floor to avoid creating tension while performing the stretch.
