How to do it
Press the stationary leg firmly against the floor to anchor your hips.
- 1
Lie flat on your back with your legs extended.
- 2
Place your hands beneath your lower back for support.
- 3
Tighten your abs and raise one leg off the ground to about a 45-degree angle while keeping the other leg stationary.
- 4
Slowly lower the raised leg back to the starting position.
- 5
Repeat with the opposite leg for the desired number of repetitions.
Expert tip
Ensure that your lower back remains in contact with the floor throughout the movement to prevent strain and to maximize engagement of the abdominal muscles.
