How to do it
Keep your gaze fixed on the bar above your face.
- 1
Grab the bar with an overhand grip, slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
- 2
Pull your legs up while keeping them straight, and lean back to form a straight line with your body.
- 3
Hold this position, keeping your body parallel to the ground.
- 4
Maintain a tight core and engaged lats.
- 5
Slowly lower back to the starting position.
Expert tip
Engage your core and glutes throughout the movement to maintain a straight body line. Progress gradually from easier variations to build the necessary strength.
