How to do it
Keep your gaze forward and chin level throughout the rotation.
- 1
Stand with feet hip-width apart holding a kettlebell by the handle with both hands in front of your chest.
- 2
Step forward into a lunge position with your right leg.
- 3
As you lunge, twist your torso to the right, keeping the kettlebell at chest height.
- 4
Twist back to center as you push through your right heel to return to the starting position.
- 5
Repeat on the left side and continue alternating for the desired number of repetitions.
Expert tip
Maintain a strong core throughout the exercise and ensure your lunge form is correct before adding the twist to prevent any strain on the lower back.
Common mistakes
